Our Story
They first met as colleagues in the corporate world — two HR professionals who found themselves staying back after meetings, still talking about people long after the paperwork was done. Over countless cups of chai in office cafeterias, they kept circling back to the same themes: how HR could be more transformative, how recruitment could be more values-driven and how organisations deserved deeper, more thoughtful support with their people practices.
The dream of "starting something of our own" would surface in these conversations, get them excited and then quietly return to the background as life moved on. Years later, one "quick" phone call between them changed the course of that dream. What began as a routine catch-up turned into a long, honest conversation about where they were, what kind of work energised them and what they wanted the next chapter of their careers to look like. Somewhere between laughter, reflection and a shared silence, they found the old “someday” dream turning into a clearer vision with an underlying question: “If we don’t start now, when will we?”
That day gave birth to Ekagra Talent Partners. Just two people choosing to trust their shared vision, experience and most importantly, their instincts.
